The Path is a 108 bead mala (japamala) created for use in Personal Transformation work, specifically centered around Soul Work & Life Path, and is hand knotted on a beige, nylon cord for extra durability. The Guru pendant is a mystery bead. Gemstone beads are Flower Agate. The top and side markers are Rudraksham placed at the 27th stations to gently remind you where you are in your meditation.
The Mystery Bead is of unknown composition and origin. It has been in my collection for many years patiently awaiting its incorporation into this purposeful piece. It may be a seed or wood or a root, but its inclusion in this mala has great significance. Our path in life is not a straight one. Like this bead, it is often a mystery. Its crevices and bumps, represent the highs and lows, the inner and the outer aspects of our journey. Often twisting back on itself or continuing with fluidity, this guru serves to remind us that life is not about the destination, it is about the journey.
Flower Agate is stone of transformation and self-growth. Like a flower, the expression of the matured plant -showing its beauty in every unique bloom - Flower Agate supports the expression of full potential- from seed to flower, beginning to fruition. It aids in boosting creativity, alleviating stress, enhancing focus, heightening intuition, and dealing with old emotional baggage.
Rudraksha is a seed found within a vibrant blue fruit indigenous to the Himalayas in India and Nepal. Translated it means Tears of Shiva. Rudraksham are considered to be power objects which positively influence all aspects of one's life and soul development. They are even said to change the karma of the wearer. Working with Rudraksham creates a more intimate connection to the world around us and the Cosmos. They reduce negativity and worry, bringing peace of mind. They have been in recorded use for over 6500 years.
